5 Star hotel Location: Baghdad, Iraq

 Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Executive Sous Chef to join a prestigious 5-star hotel in Baghdad, Iraq. The ideal candidate will support the Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations, ensuring culinary excellence, consistency, and the highest standards of quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction across all dining outlets and banqueting operations. 



Salary: USD 4,200 (Basic)
Service Charge:  Provided monthly

Flight Ticket: Yearly

Medical and Life Insurance: Provided  
Accommodation:  One bedroom apartment

Transportation:  Provided by the Hotel

Hiring Status:  Single


 

 

Candidate Requirements – Executive Sous Chef (5-Star Hotel, Baghdad)

  • Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a 5-star or luxury hotel environment
  • Strong expertise in multi-cuisine operations, including menu execution, quality control, and high-end presentation
  • Creative and hands-on leadership with the ability to support menu development and culinary innovation
  • Solid kitchen management capabilities, including food cost control, procurement, and strict adherence to HACCP standards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor multicultural kitchen brigades
  • Experience in banquet and high-volume operations within a luxury hospitality setting
  • Ability to support the Executive Chef in daily operations, SOP implementation, and departmental planning
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence
